The data of the first wave of FReDA are available. They are processed by GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences and made available to researchers. Here you will find the most important information on data access.

What is offered?

Scientific Use Files of the first wave of FReDA
The dataset contains the recruitment wave W1R as well as the two sub-waves W1A and W1B
The data of the partners of the anchor persons can also be analyzed.
Furthermore, the paradata of the survey are available
These are anonymized data from

W1R: about 37,700 interviews
W1A: about 22,000 interviews
W1B: about 20,000 interviews
W1A partners: about 7,200 interviews

Researchers with appropriate credentials
Students can also work with the FReDA data - for example, in the context of their final thesis
The data are available exclusively for scientific, non-commercial purposes.
