Depending on the number of submissions, the review team may assign some submissions to an additional poster session. The best conference presentation will be selected by a jury and awarded a prize.
The aim of the FReDA User Conference is to provide a forum for both early career and experienced researchers to present preliminary results, receive comments and feedback from experienced data users and collaborators, and facilitate future collaborations.
Prof. Dr Jutta Mata (University of Mannheim) and Prof. Dr Katharina Wrohlich (DIW Berlin, University of Potsdam) will deliver the keynote speeches at the FReDA User Conference.
The user conference will be face-to-face and held in English. Catering will be provided for lunch and coffee breaks. No conference fee will be charged, travelling expenses cannot be reimbursed.
The findings presented at the first and second FReDA user conferences have already impressively demonstrated the exciting analyses that are possible with the FReDA data sets. They provided a forum for lively discussions and an intensive scientific exchange on family demographic research.
Strong interest in Secend FReDA User Conference
