Large Participation in Wave W2a

Since May 5th, FReDA has been in the field for the first part of Wave 2a and currently, 22,300 people have already participated in the survey. From the FReDA-GGS sample, we have collected 18,250 interviews, which equals a response rate of 76%. From the pairfam sample, around 4,050 interviews have been received, which equals a response rate of around 65%. The field will close on 7 July 2022, so these numbers will likely increase.

From the more than 22,000 interviews, a large portion (89%) completed the questionnaire online. The majority of participants used a mobile device: Around 55% used a smartphone/phablet to participate in our panel study. Around 42% of them filled out the questionnaire on their laptop, notebook or PC. Only 2% of participants used a tablet. In addition, we have received around 2,500 written questionnaires to date.

The partner survey is also off to a promising start

The partner survey will be conducted in three rounds. For Round 1, 3,759 people were invited to complete our questionnaire on 25 May. As of now, we have received 2,782 fully completed interviews, which equals a response rate of around 74%. Rounds 2 and 3 will begin in the coming days.
