FReDA strives to establish as open a transfer of information as possible between science, politics and the interested public. To this end, we regularly publish brochures, each of which is dedicated to a current key topic. In these brochures, we describe demographic developments and their causes and consequences, which are of public interest, in a clear and understandable way. The information in the brochures is based on research results that were compiled with the data from the FReDA study.
The following brochures have already been published by the project or were produced based on FReDA data:
Lebenssituation ukrainischer Geflüchteter. Höhere gesellschaftliche Teilhabe nach eineinhalb Jahren in Deutschland A FReDA-related study analyzes the well-being and social participation of Ukrainian refugees and their children in the first one and a half years after their arrival in Germany. The article is published in the publication Bevölkerungsforschung Aktuell 6/2023.
BiB.Monitor Wohlbefinden 2023 – Wie zufrieden ist die Bevölkerung in Deutschland? In the first BiB.Monitor 2023, differences in well-being are described for selected demographic groups. The findings show, among other things, that the factor "well-being" reflects the subjective well-being of the population and is unequally distributed.
Zum Stand der Deutschen Einheit. Bericht der Bundesregierung 2023 Published by the Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany, September 2023. In particular, distribution of household and living arrangements in urban and rural areas, p. 74f.
Gender roles, Housework, Conflict among Couples. A first look at "FReDA – The German Family Demography Panel Study" Information Service of the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) 2023 - Reprint of the publication of the same name.
Gender roles, housework, Conflict among Couples The first analyses based on the FReDA data are available and shed light on interesting aspects of life in a relationship. Among other things, the unequal distribution of housework and the associated potential for conflict become clear.
